Busy Mums Take Work to School

ENTREPRENEUR and father Darius Soudi is helping working mums find the family-work balance with an exciting new business prospect.

Serial entrepreneur Darius is sharing a slice of his latest crystalised business venture with would-be business people across the country.

Going back to work after time out with family can be a daunting time but women are being offered the opportunity to take on a new challenge by running their own franchise of Darius’s visionary company 3DKids.

And the best part is their work will take them to school with their kids.

The new 3D Kids company uses the latest state-of-the-art technology to create a school photograph for the 21st century – a three dimensional image set in solid crystal.

Specialist cameras take a 3D image of pupils, which are permanently transferred into the dazzling crystals, creating an eye catching alternative to the traditional school portrait photograph.

“It can be a difficult balance for women to find the time to go back to work and look after their family. By owning a franchise of 3DKids you are working for yourself but still going out and about to meet people in local schools and nurseries.

“It is an extremely exciting time for 3DKids as we expand and open more franchises. This is a fantastic opportunity for mums who want to get back into employment after time out with a family,” said Darius.

3D Kids is an original idea which is already branching out into 3D Weddings, 3D Corporate and 3D Pets.

Anyone signing up will be given a post code area and schools and nurseries within that area to work with.

“This is ideal for mums who want flexible, part time working and the chance to decide their own hours,” said Darius, who has young children of his own.

“The possibilities are quite literally endless working with schools, playgroups, nurseries and mother and toddler groups.

“We can also go into people’s homes to take family portraits which will last a lifetime,” he added.

Darius believes the franchises will appeal particularly to young mums who can combine caring for their family with part time working to suit themselves.

VISIONARY company helping schools and nurseries across the country has rescued a Cheshire playgroup from certain closure

Here 3DKids, which is the brainchild of serial entrepreneur Darius Soudi, has saved the troubled Jumping Jelly Beans pre-school playgroup, at Winsford, with a much needed cash injection.  The group, which meets at the Winsford Centre at Cheviot Square on Tuesdays and Wednesdays looking after more than 60 children, was set to close at the end of March as its finances rapidly depleted.

But now, 3DKids has stepped in to save the day, donating more than £2,000 to ensure the scheme can carry on for another 12 months.

The company uses the latest state-of-the-art technology to etch three dimensional images of youngsters into solid crystal – creating a dazzling alternative to the traditional school photograph.

3DKids Business Manager Carley Stone said: “3DKids is proud to be able to support the community in this way.

“Playgroups such Jumping Jelly Beans are vital to so many parents across the region and we could not simply stand by and let it disappear.”

3DKids also offers a special, risk free, fundraising scheme for schools and nurseries across the UK, donating a percentage of the money raised from any 3D imaging session.

Director Darius Soudi added: “Our fundraising scheme means that children are at the heart of the majority of our projects.

“Schools and pre-schools are at the center of every community and we felt that we needed to come out and show our support. It’s important not only for the youngsters, but also the parents and volunteers, who work tirelessly to keep projects like this going.”

Jumping Jelly Beans chairwoman Rachel Hickson said: “We think what 3DKids has done is fantastic. Without the funding we were going to have to close.

“The parents and grandparents who come down each week are so pleased. It’s great news for all the children who attend Jumping Jelly Beans.”
